About the Trust

Sri Shankaragiri Vasudevananda Paravidya Trust is a charitable trust dedicated to the twin ideals of knowledge and service. The Trust was formed to promote the study and sharing of philosophy, yoga, vedanta, and related Vedic traditions, while also supporting charitable efforts in education, healthcare, public welfare, and relief for vulnerable communities.

Supporting the study of philosophy, yoga literature, Sanskrit, and Vedic fields
Establishing or assisting schools, colleges, and educational institutions
Publishing literature and organizing seminars, workshops, retreats, lectures, and discussions

About Swami Vasudevananda Saraswati

Swami Vasudevananda Saraswati lived a life shaped by discipline, scholarship, leadership, and spiritual pursuit. Beginning his career in the Indian Air Force, and later serving in major public and private sector roles including HAL, ITC, and Super Auto Forge, he eventually turned fully toward the study of Vedanta and the scriptures. Guided by renowned teachers and supported by his wife Smt. Kalyani, he dedicated himself to sharing deeper knowledge and founded the trust as an expression of that commitment.
